The Kiev authorities are not planning to make paid parking in the courtyards of houses now. This was stated by the head of the city parking inspection Dmitry Rakhmatullin, according to the press service of the Kiev city state administration.
According to him, the city plans to streamline parking in the courtyards. They also want to monitor the adjoining territories for their availability to OSBB or housing construction cooperatives. If the adjoining territory does not belong to the OSBB or the housing cooperative, the residents of the house will be offered to register it on the balance of these associations.
Rakhmatullin added that parking in courtyards should be streamlined following the example of parking zones near hospitals or schools. The chaotic arrangement of vehicles interferes with the passage of ambulances and emergency services, he added.
Recall that on July 28, the deputy of the Kiev City Council Vladislav Trubitsyn said that the mayor’s office plans to make paid parking near residential buildings. They allegedly want to do this in accordance with the new parking rates.
