Atelier Mopar of the concern Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has released its own line of clothing and accessories. In addition to briefcases and protective masks, the assortment includes an ugly Christmas sweater.
In addition to the traditional Christmas snowflakes, the Mopar sweater features a HEMI V8 426 Elephant engine. The seven-liter unit, originally developed for NASCAR racing, was put on the Dodge Charger, Plymouth Barracuda and Dodge Challenger in the 1960s and 1970s. The Mopar range of accessories also includes reusable protective masks with the HEMI logo, which can be purchased for six dollars apiece. Also available for ordering are men’s and women’s hoodies, costume jewelry, backpacks with the brand’s logo and protective films for multimedia systems of cars.
In preparing for the Christmas season, Mercedes-Benz has gone even further. In early December, the company dressed up the Mercedes-AMG GT coupe and g-Class SUV in festive liveries styled as sweaters. Photos of both cars were accompanied by the hashtag #UglySweaterCars (translated as “cars in an ugly sweater”).
