The Chinese Beijing BJ40 SUV, which is similar to the Jeep Wrangler, came in a limited edition called the Ring Tower Champion Edition, AutoHome reports.
Not all details about the new Beijing BJ40 Ring Tower Champion Edition have been revealed yet. But after a week and a half, the novelty will be available for ordering in the Chinese market. The main innovation of the SUV is the combination of a 2.0-liter turbo unit with a new 8-speed automatic transmission. The output of the power unit is not reported, but on an ordinary SUV, the petrol “four” develops 204 hp. and 280 Nm of maximum torque.
Beijing BJ40 Ring Tower Champion Edition has good off-road qualities: it has three differential locks in the transmission. In addition, the car has a decent geometric cross-country ability: the angle of entry is 37 degrees, and the exit angle is 31 degrees.
The performance of the Beijing BJ40 Ring Tower Champion Edition differs from standard SUVs in its matte gray body paint, original stickers and nameplates. The salon of the novelty, as far as can be judged from the presented pictures, is trimmed with black leather. The cost of the Beijing BJ40 in the Ring Tower Champion Edition for the Chinese market has not yet been announced.
