Wuling Xingchen, a mid-size crossover, has debuted in Shanghai and will be produced by the SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture in southern China. Wuling cars are based on General Motors units and are positioned as mass and inexpensive.
The length, width and height of Xingchen are 4594, 1820 and 1740 mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2750 mm. That is, the size of this car is comparable to the Toyota RAV4. The novelty from Wuling has a rather faceless design – the exterior is modern and simple in style, there is nothing to catch the eye.
The car is equipped with a “Jem” gasoline turbo engine with a volume of 1.5 liters and a capacity of 149 hp. Front-wheel drive, 4×4 transmission is not provided in principle.
In China, the novelty will be offered at a price of about $ 14 thousand.
