Yamaha has homologated the Aerox 155 scooter in India and its launch is likely to happen after the (updated) R15 and R15M hit the market.
Back in July, the Japanese brand announced that it would launch a maxi scooter in India. Subsequently, the company received the Aerox 155 type approval certificate.
Sporty quite interesting styling, the scooter features an LED headlight with DRL, a tiny screen, footrests, a one-piece staggered seat, an LED taillight and a side-mounted exhaust can.
It also features a digital dashboard, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless ignition, USB port and 24.5 liters under-seat storage, while the fuel tank holds 5.5 liters of gasoline.
However, the most important feature of the Yamaha Aerox 155 is the engine. This scooter is powered by a 155cc liquid cooled engine. cm (for example, R15 V3), which in India will develop a maximum power of 11 kW or 14.75 hp. with. at 8000 rpm.
