Yamaha XSR125 2021 officially announced for Europe

At the beginning of May 2021, we talked about the possibility of Yamaha XSR125 appearing in Europe in the near future. And that day has come. Yamaha Motor Europe has officially unveiled the 2021 XSR125 for markets across the continent.

The 2021 Yamaha XSR125 is fully Euro 5 compliant. It is powered by a liquid-cooled 124cc 11-cylinder engine with 14.75hp single overhead camshaft. and 11.5 Nm at 10,000 rpm. It also comes with a 6-speed gearbox.

The XSR125 is fitted with 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels at the front and rear. The seat height is 815 mm, or just over 32 inches. The fuel tank has a capacity of 11 liters and an unladen weight of 140 kg.

The chassis uses Yamaha’s proven double-side Deltabox frame design, which is both strong and lightweight. Other key features include an LED head and taillights, a circular LCD indicator at the front with a chrome bezel.

In 2021, the European edition of the XSR125 will be available in three colors: Redline, Tech Black and Impact Yellow. They are slated to be sold by dealers across Europe in the first week of June 2021. Pricing and availability will vary by market.
