Zeus exchanged the abode of the gods for a BMW

BMW has unveiled its commercial for the American Football Super Bowl. The cost of 30 seconds of advertising during the most popular sporting event in America can reach $ 5.5 million.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine Auto with a link to the BMW USA YouTube channel.

The commercial also stars Salma Hayek Pino, who plays the role of Hera, who, according to Greek mythology, is the wife of Zeus. According to the story, after a busy life on Mount Olympus, Zeus and Hera decided to retire and live quietly in Palm Springs – relax and play golf.

But the pensioner god Zeus still suffers from boredom and Hera comes up with a brilliant idea to give her husband … an electric crossover BMW iX M60. This helps the mighty Zeus to return the taste to life.

The new BMW ad was filmed by Goodby Silverstein & Partners and directed by two-time Oscar-nominated writer/director Brian Buckley. The budget for the one-minute video was $12 million. And that’s without the actors’ fees! However, the high costs will justify themselves, because in the USA alone the video will be seen by almost 100 million viewers.

A 60 second mini-film “Zeus & Hera” will be screened during the US National Football League (Super Bowl) final game on February 13th. But we can watch it right now.
